Alison earned a Master's Degree in Counseling and Personnel Services from the University of Maryland in 1999, and is licensed to provide therapy in the state of Pennsylvania.

 

She has provided therapy in child mental health for over 25 years, many of these as a school counselor. Alison has worked in home and community settings and established her therapy practice in 2022.

Alison is one of the few highly trained and experienced play therapists in Bucks County, PA. She is certified in Child-Centered Play Therapy, a research-backed and highly effective approach that supports children through emotional and behavioral challenges. Alison also integrates Synergetic Play Therapy into her work, a cutting-edge modality that specifically addresses nervous system regulation, helping children build resilience and emotional balance from the inside out.​​
